NASHVILLE, TN, July 10, 2015 – The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS®), the leading international association for professionals in analytics and operations research, is hosting its third Healthcare Conference with a far-reaching series of presentations about the growing importance of analytics in healthcare. The conference will include plenary presentations by two leaders in the intersection of analytics and healthcare.

Dr. Jonathan Perlin, President, Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer, Hospital Corporation of America, will address how payers and providers are increasingly using data for higher-value, safer, and better performing healthcare in a talk, “The Healthcare Information Ecosystem and Improvement: The (Big) Data Dividend of Meaningful Use.” Dr. Perlin provides leadership for clinical services and improving performance at HCA’s 162 hospitals and more than 800 outpatient centers and physician practices.  HCA, with headquarters in Nashville, is the largest private-sector health system in the U.S.
