The second biennial BIOMA conference will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia and will be organized as part of the Information Society Multiconference IS 2006. The purpose of the BIOMA conference is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of the latest theoretical and applied results in bioinspired optimization methodology and its applications. Authors will also have the opportunity to present their software tools and case-studies.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers (not being considered for presentation or publication elsewhere) describing theoretical or applied research. Papers addressing real-world applications are especially welcome. Areas of interest include genetic algorithms, evolution strategies, evolutionary programming, genetic programming, ant colony optimization, particle swarm optimization and related bioinspired methods, and their applications in science, engineering and business.
PAPER SUBMISSION
Submit full papers in English not exceeding 10 pages (LaTeX style and optionally MS Word template are available on the conference webpage). Only electronic submissions in PDF or PS format are accepted. The files should be emailed to [email protected] with corresponding author's postal address, e-mail address, and phone/fax number. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two members of the international Program Committee. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings that will be available at the conference.
PAPER ACCEPTANCE
Each accepted paper has to be presented by one of the authors at the conference and must be accompanied with the registration fee.
